WITH THE FILING DEADLINE LAST WEEK, THE MENOMINEE CITY COUNCIL RACES ARE SET

Two veteran Menominee city council members William Plemel and Doug Robinson will not seek re-election this year. In Ward 1, Incumbent Michael DeDamos is being challenged by Donna Larsen. In Ward 2, Windy-Marie Kerkela will face Beth Peanosky for the seat now held by Plemel. In Ward 3, Incumbent Josh Jones is unopposed, and in Ward 4, Vincent Baron faces Christina Vargo to fill Robinson’s seat. The general election is November 4th.
