During the public comment segment of Monday evening’s City of Menominee City Council Meeting, Steve Gromala, a citizen and county board supervisor, addressed the council and audience. He discussed concerns regarding why a particular establishment operates without accountability or regard for nearby residents. He mentioned that upon returning home late one night, he found messages on his answering machine complaining about noise from the establishment.
Gromola says, “I predict that if this council continues to cater to certain businesses and neglect its residents we will decline in population, and soon it will become a ghost town.”
