The City of Menominee’s 2024 Fourth of July Celebration returned to the Menominee Marina and Bandshell with a daylong Independence Day Celebration featuring old favorites and new additions, all culminating in a Fun, Family, Fourth of July experience. The City of Menominee Fourth of July Celebration Event Director Jackie Nutter says, “in the two years that I’ve been doing the event, we’ve experienced much more success this year than last year and we’ve made a lot of improvements.”
“We had nine non-profits that functioned as volunteers and that was over 40 people. We had two separate shifts. We had two 4-hour shifts they could volunteer for. Our committee made some donations like light up accessories for the kids.” Says, Nutter.
Ms. Nutter has expressed that she wishes to continue planning the City of Menominee’s Fourth of July Festivities. The city has no complaints about the event or with Jackie. We will have a conversation about the event later.
