Bounliam Khidsukhum, 42 years old, was sentenced on Friday, April 25th to a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 45 years in prison for negotiating the sale of a substantial amount of methamphetamine to an undercover detective in August and September of 2024. The sentence was handed down by 41st Circuit Court Judge Mary B. Barglind.
Judge Barglind stated that Khidsukhum would receive credit for 232 days served. On September 5th, 2024, at approximately 2030 EST, the undercover agent and a team of UPSET detectives met Khidsukhum in the parking lot of the Island Resort and Casino in Menominee County, as agreed after their month-long negotiations, for a methamphetamine transaction. Khidsukhum arrived as planned, was identified, and arrested. Approximately 432 grams of suspected methamphetamine, which field-tested positive, was found in the center console of Khidsukhum’s vehicle.
