The Marinette Girls Basketball team won their Regional Championship with a 50-28 win over Pulaski Saturday Night. The 2nd seed Marines advance to the Sectional Semi-final game Thursday night at 7pm at Pulaski against top seed Shawano, who won their region with a 54-31 victory over Fox Valley Lutheran.
At the WIAA State Individual Wrestling tournament Saturday, Coleman’s Micha Kuchta took first in the Division 2 175 pound class with a win over Oconto Fall’s Rick Trepanier. Coleman’s Devin Otto took 3rd in the 285 pound class, and Coleman’s Conner Markiewicz placed 4th in 126 pounds.
